Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and AIPine Studio (“we”, “us”), the maker of Wallup. By creating an account or publishing in Wallup you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Wallup
You must be at least 13 years old, and older if the law of your country sets a higher age for using services like this without a parent’s consent. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens in your Wallup account.
2. How Wallup works
You photograph a wall and write a phrase. Wallup uses AI to paint the phrase onto your photo; nothing is painted on a real wall. The result is published on a public map at the place you took the photo. When other people publish the same phrase, their artworks join yours in the same tag, and everyone whose wall a tag passed through earns Ups.
Wallup is a digital game. Do not paint on real buildings, walls or property without the owner’s permission — that can be a crime, and these terms give you no right to do it.
3. Community rules
Everything you publish is public. You must not publish, or use Wallup to share:
- sexual content or nudity, and never anything that sexualises a minor (see our Child Safety Standards);
- violence, threats, or content that glorifies or encourages harm to people or animals, self-harm or terrorism;
- hate speech: attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics;
- harassment or bullying of a real person, or content meant to humiliate them;
- private information about anyone — addresses, phone numbers, documents, car number plates — or photos in which people can be recognised without their permission;
- content that promotes or sells illegal goods or activities, including drugs and weapons;
- spam, advertising, scams, or attempts to mislead people;
- content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- pretending to be someone else.
You must also not try to break, overload or get around the app’s limits, use it with bots or scripts, or access other people’s accounts.
4. Reports, blocks and moderation
If you see something that breaks these rules, report it: open the photo, tap ⋯ and choose Report. You can also block a person there; you will no longer see what they publish. Reported content stops showing for you straight away.
We review reports and may remove content, and suspend or permanently delete accounts, that break these rules or the law — usually without notice, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. If you believe we removed your content by mistake, write to wallup.aipine.studio@gmail.com.
5. Your content
You keep the rights to the photos and phrases you publish. By publishing you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, show, reproduce and distribute them inside Wallup and in material that promotes it (such as share videos and store screenshots), for as long as they are published. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already shared outside the app.
A phrase is shared by everyone who paints it. If you delete your account, other people’s artworks with the same phrase stay, and so does the phrase as their tag.
You confirm that you have the right to publish what you publish, and that it follows these terms.
6. AI-generated content
The lettering on your photo is generated by an AI model (Google Gemini). The result can be unexpected or imperfect; you choose whether to publish it, and you are responsible for the phrase you ask it to paint. If an AI result is offensive, report it the same way as any other content.
7. Ups and subscriptions
Ups are points inside the game. They have no money value and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred.
A subscription gives you more photos per day and your own lettering styles. It is sold through Google Play or the App Store, renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it in the store’s settings, and is billed and refunded under the store’s rules. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Wallup at any time and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Wallup; we will give notice where we can.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Wallup is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that content other people publish is accurate or lawful. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content published by other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. When the change matters, the app will ask you to agree again before you publish anything new.
